Realtime Court Reporting
Interactive realtime court reporting is the live translation of our reporter’s stenotype writing into readable text. This service allows attorneys and paralegals to connect to our certified realtime reporters’ computer and immediately view draft testimony on a laptop or tablet.
Lexitas reporter realtime feeds are compatible with CaseView, LiveNote and Summation litigation support software. These platforms enable users to flag sections of the transcript as testimony is being given, to help build your case live, as the deposition happens. In addition, users can search realtime and other transcripts in the case for previous or conflicting testimony. Transcript and annotation reports can be created in realtime and can be saved, printed or e-mailed to your colleagues, co-counsel, expert or client.
In addition to realtime court reporting services, we can also conduct live internet deposition feeds to stream realtime transcripts and video anywhere in the world. For example, you can depose a witness in Texas while your co-counsel or expert monitors the realtime transcription and exhibits in New York, saving you valuable time and travel expenses.
At the end of realtime depositions, you can request the realtime transcript rough copy to be sent to you via email in your desired format. Deposition summaries can be created quickly by searching for quick marks, expounding upon or creating notes and annotations and by creating annotation reports related to the testimony given. You can also use your realtime transcript to prepare for upcoming depositions.
