Professional Experience:

Judge Seier served as a Circuit Judge for the 32nd Judicial Circuit (Cape Girardeau, Bollinger and Perry Counties) until his retirement. During his tenure on the bench he served as Presiding Judge for the Circuit and was also assigned by the Supreme Court as a Special Judge to hear matters throughout Missouri. Prior to joining the bench Judge Seier practiced with the law firm of Evans & Dixon in St. Louis handling litigation of personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, contracts, real estate and construction disputes and also entered into general practice with The Oliver Law Firm in Cape Girardeau. He further was elected and served as Prosecuting Attorney of Cape Girardeau County for an eight-year tenure. He also served as President of the Missouri Prosecuting Attorneys Association. Since his retirement from the bench he served as a mediator and arbitrator in Florida after being certified by the Florida Dispute Resolution Committee and is also arbitrating for FINRA.

Judge Seier served as a Naval Aviator aboard the USS Intrepid as the squadron (VF33) personnel and legal officer and has flown as a missionary bush pilot in Central America and the Eastern Caribbean. He has received Maritime Professional Training and holds a Coast Guard Masters license. Along with serving as an arbitrator and mediator Judge Seier serves as a charter boat captain and boat deliverer.
