Joan M. Swartz manages the Law Offices of Joan M. Swartz, which was formed in 2000. She has extensive civil trial experience, litigating matters in all our regional courts for over 34 years. Mrs. Swartz graduated from law school in 1987 and has practiced since then. Her current and prior experience as an associate and partner in two area law firms has given her broad exposure to legal issues. Mrs. Swartz sees her job as solving legal problems and strives to do this in the most expeditious manner possible.
She has extensive litigation experience, and focuses on handling employment related disputes, complex commercial matters and issues involving small businesses and individuals. Mrs. Swartz has litigated these issues throughout the region—appearing in all area courts, our appellate courts and the Missouri Supreme Court. She has secured jury verdicts in all ranges and settled many more matters outside of trial throughout her career. She has been recognized at the local, state and national levels for her work. But for Joan M. Swartz, the people and her love of the law are the reason she continues to practice. On a more personal note, Mrs. Swartz lives and work right here in St. Louis, where she and her husband of 36 years have raised their family. Her hobbies include travel, music and spending time with friends and family.
