Joe Guffey is an experienced litigator and is a lead trial attorney for product liability, personal injury, employment and business cases at Husch Blackwell, LLP, where he has practiced since 1984. He has represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants in several hundred mediations that have been successfully resolved. Joe is admitted to the Missouri and Illinois Bar and has tried numerous jury and bench trial in Circuit and U.S. District Courts in these venues as well as other venues nationwide. Joe is rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell ® and is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the National Association of Manufacturers and the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers.Guffey is active in many volunteer activities including the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Metro St. Louis and as a grade school basketball referee where he uses his mediation skills to control situations and officiate rules for a successful activity for all participants.
