Lexitas Supports the Court Reporting Program at University of Houston Downtown
In order to encourage the continued growth of the local court reporting community, Lexitas has become a financial partner to the Court Reporting Program at the University of Houston Downtown (UHD), one of 4 district schools in the University of Houston System.
“We greatly appreciate the assistance to support court reporting students in their career pursuit,” states, G.V. Krishnan, Director of the Applied Business and Technology Center. “We, at Lexitas, are truly pleased to support the evolution of the University of Houston Downtown’s new Court Reporting Program. We are invested in building awareness and opportunity to students,” said Gary Buckland, Chief Executive Officer of Lexitas.
The Court Reporting Program housed at the Applied Business & Technology Center is a new comprehensive program designed to fully prepare students for industry recognized exams such as the Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) and Registered Professional Reporter (RPR).
