Lexitas Coronavirus Update
We have been monitoring the news of coronavirus (COVID-19) carefully. The health and safety of our reporters, clients and employees is our top priority and we want to provide you with this status update:
- Lexitas Offices
At the current time our staffing levels for both reporters and employees are stable and robust. We have taken proactive measures to prepare contingency plans for higher rates of unavailability among our employees, reporters and videographers to minimize any service interruptions.
We ask that everyone attending a deposition in person confirm that they are symptom-free, have not been in contact with anyone that has the virus, and have not traveled outside the United States in the last 14 days.
- Record Requests
In the event that provider facilities are forced to close or there are other related service interruptions, Lexitas can continue to receive and service your records requests. There may be a 2 – 3 week increase in turnaround time.
CA Clients Please Note: Due to the shelter-in-place order throughout California, Lexitas will temporarily suspend delivery of paper and CD records and all records will be delivered electronically.
Defense Records Clients Please Note: Due to the temporary closure of our facility, Lexitas will be unable to produce physical copies, all records will be delivered electronically until further notice.
- If you can’t travel or are working from home, consider using remote deposition technology.
