Lexitas Supports Court Reporting Recruitment Through Donation To Project Steno

Lexitas has donated $50,000 to Project Steno in support of its recruitment and awareness-building initiatives. With their substantial donation to Project Steno, Lexitas is addressing head-on the urgent need to attract a new generation of students to court reporting.

“Lexitas is passionate about supporting and promoting the mission of Project Steno,” said Gary Buckland, Chief Executive Officer at Lexitas. “It is incumbent upon all of us in this industry to continue to build the pipeline of stenographic court reporters. Creating awareness and promoting a career that provides high earnings potential and work-life balance though this partnership will make a difference to prospective students.”

Project Steno promotes the stenographic reporting profession through social media and community outreach, with the goal of building a robust pipeline of students into school and graduating them in two years.

“This generous donation by Lexitas demonstrates their recognition of stenographic court reporters as vital to their ongoing business,” noted Project Steno President Jim DeCrescenzo. “Lexitas has been supportive of Project Steno for years, with prior financial donations and in helping to defray the costs of shipping machines to students enrolled in Basic Training. We are grateful for their donation and for the collaborative spirit they have shown.”
