In his 45 plus years of law practice, Tom Lang has been exposed to a vast variety of clients, issues, challenges and unique opportunities to assist real people in finding reasonable resolutions within the confines of our unparalleled system of jurisprudence. His background, training and experience has armed him with the tools needed to guide clients through these difficult times with compassion, honesty, integrity, confidence and professionalism.

Tom has been in the private practice of law in the St. Louis area since 1971. His experience includes trial work on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants and he has successfully handled multimillion dollar personal injury and wrongful death claims. His area of practice includes personal injury, commercial litigation, malpractice, product liability, family law, contractual disputes, real estate, business litigation and appellate work. He has mediated over 350 cases and has served as a hearing officer for school districts and police departments, as a court appointed special master and as a receiver and condemnation commissioner. He served as a Commissioner for the 21st Circuit Judicial Commission from 2000-2006 and served as Chairman of The Missouri Bar Professionalism Committee from 2008-2010 and for the Missouri Bar Professionalism Council from 2009-2013.

Tom has mediated a wide range of disputes including a class action six hundred million dollar damage case, a twenty-five million dollar insurance dispute between insurance carriers, personal injury, wrongful death, uninsured/underinsured claims, patent and trademark infringement, insurance indemnity cases, condemnation issues, medical malpractice, business dissolutions, contract disputes, fraud and misrepresentation, discrimination, EEOC claims, excessive force, slander, libel, construction disputes, ERISA. ADA, and all typed of family matters including custody and dissolution. Tom is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois and before the U.S. Supreme Court. Tom has tried and/or appeared before all levels of trial courts in Missouri and Illinois, and federal district courts in Missouri and California. He has briefed and argued before the Supreme Court of Missouri and Eastern District Court of Appeals.

In 2014 Tom received an Award from the St. Louis County Circuit Court for Chairing the successful campaign to have $100 Million Dollar Bond issue approved by voters to build a new Family Court Building and renovate the existing Civil Court building.
